Business people know about advertising. If you watch tv you know about advertising. It just pays to advertise. Burglars know about it too. Here's what I mean.

If you were a decent self respecting crook of a burglar you don't want to get caught right? I mean that would take all the fun out of it (not to mention your profits).

So what do you do? When you are out casing neighborhoods you look for the ones that don't have signs for a neighborhood watch.

Once you find one of those then you look for homes that don't have signs from a security company plastered all over the place. Then you look to see if they have a sign up about their guard dog.

Then you look to see if maybe there isn't a NRA stcicker in the window or on the bumper of a car. I mean you don't want to get shot do you?

Get the idea? Put up signs basically telling the bad guys you don't want them around. Believe it or not they do get the message.
