The unfortunate incident in CT recently highlights how easy a home invasion can be. As a homeowner or apartment dweller, you need to take responsibility for protecting your home, your family, even your business.

Education on what to do is a good first step. Installing some home security alarms on doors and windows is a good second step. The I would make sure there are some self defense weapons in the house, stun guns, pepper sprays, even tasers.
